Owner and Chef Hiroshi Tsuji graduated from the prestigious and world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After working in New York for many years, he brought his unique culinary style and vast experience to Ohio. He opened a variety of restaurants, each catering to a broad clientele and offering a unique dining experience and spectacular ambience and customer service.
Chef Tsuji’s vision is to provide an authentic Japanese culinary experience to discerning Cleveland area diners. His sushi chefs are experienced, viewing their preparation of the freshest sushi as an art. His head chefs have more than 25 years of experience, lending Shuhei’s menu a refined taste and an outstanding variety of choices to please every palate.
Shuheis ambience is contemporary, with genuine Japanese artwork and a traditional Japanese feel that creates a special dining experience. Its prime location in Beachwood, Ohio, is highly accessible. The restaurant is 30 minutes from downtown and from the airport, 15 minutes from the east side, and features ample parking and a private feel, set back from the main street.
