STONETOWN is the newest concept from “Soul Republic United Restaurant Group,” the same visionary team that brought you Zanzibar Soul Fusion, Jezebels Bayou and re-created the Angie’s Soul Cafe brand. We have created a special Southern influenced menu that we are sure will please the palate.
The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Come and dine, sit at the large bar and watch the game or just get warm in front of the fireplace on your laptop while enjoying our play list. I am sure you will find the experience pleasing to you.
Stonetown is a casual full-service restaurant that features the best in southern cuisine and other specialties such as Buttermilk Fried Yardbird & Red Velvet Waffles, Turkey Chops, Gator Burgers, seafood, pasta dishes, Macaroni & Cheese, Greens. We also have a delicious weekend brunch, specialty drinks and of course our famous Peach Cobbler and Bread Pudding.
Located in downtown Cleveland, Stonetown Southern Fusion has a rich history that dates back to 1985, when some of these original recipes were born in the kitchen of the Carnegie Hotel by the hands of Angie’s Soul Food (now Angie’s Soul Café) founder, Angie.
An earlier version of Angie’s upscale cuisine was active from 2002 until 2007, as Carolina’s Southern Cuisine (17322-24 Harvard). If you ever had the opportunity to visit Carolina’s then you will recognize some familiar items at Stonetown such as the Catfish Fingers, Fried Green Tomatoes, Smothered Chops, Bar BQ Salmon, Chicken & Waffles and Red & Grape Kool-Aid served in the Mason Jars.
With our rich history from Angie’s Soul Food, our signature dishes from Carolina’s and with the introduction of Executive Chef Tony at the helm adding even more to the foundation we are sure to have something that you will enjoy.
