National Road Zane Grey Museum - Ohio Historical Society
National Road Zane Grey Museum
Back in 1963 which was before interstate 70 came through Ohio, Baker’s Motel is located on the National Road and owned by I.B. Baker. The interstate was being built and at the time was set to bypass 40 with no exit when Mr. Baker negotiated with the state to put the Museum directly across the street in exchange the state would put Exit 164 off I-70 in, the rest is now history and the Zane Grey Museum sits directly across the street.
In the museum you will find the history of the National Road in addition to the writer Zane Grey, a famous western novelist. Stop by today and visit the Zane Grey Museum.
